Maybe it’s not the medication that made me dumb, but maybe I’ve always been this dumb. It’s hard to put into words the amount of brain fog I have. I don’t know about IQ or anything like that, mostly because it’s puzzles and I don’t do those well. Really the most intelligent, stable thing I’ve done was doing algebra in kindergarten. But that seemed to be peak lol. Peaked at age 4 or 5.

The medication does make you lose ability. I seem to be making more errors this year than I was in my last year of studies. I don’t let it bother me though; perseverance helps

It’s hard to focus, contemplate abstract ideas, or have a poor functioning memory.

That would require a very high IQ. Even more so than my looking at encyclopaedias before I started going to school.

Thank you, my intelligence in my early childhood was actually a lot better. It seemed to slow down middle school which was when my OCD started. Then in high school was schizophrenia. So, I suppose maybe I was supposed to have an IQ, but then I stopped working on it to maintain it, that it got discombobulated

My school results started to decline Summer term 1966. I had not gone back to school on the due date due to possibility of Mumps.Was supposedly clear but mumps symptoms started on the flight from San Francisco to London.Was in isolation for several weeks. I think it was just coincidental, but it was that term that I started doing less well.

My family had a dog called Sandy (named from the 1982 film Annie) I remember being in school at 10 years old and I couldn’t even spell the name Sandy.

Intellectually I was at my best at age 4. Any years after that are just a true reflection of that one year.
