I fail at everything in life since having psychosis

Everything. I stay in bed all day everyday 90% of my time, 10% in the bathroom or eating. I guess I am good at listening to music lol

Maybe you will have more motivation if you switch to another AP?
Don’t give up.

Can you push yourself a little more everyday?
You like to cook for example.

Maybe you can push yourself to do some more things around the house.

A little bit at a time.

But I would talk with your doctor about trying a different AP at this point.
My negative symptoms are pretty bad too.

He doesnt want to change my meds at all. I want to try Vraylar but its not available here and I fear that it wont work for my positive symptoms.

Try a new ap as above. It doesn’t seem to be helping. Sleep is good because it repairs body, but too much will create a bad loop and will cause damage, you studied this; so you are aware to a level.

Take walks with music on? That could be a pastime?

Why not try Geodon?
It shouldn’t cause lots of negative symptoms.

I cant take walks. My parents force me to walk with them and it doesnt work.

Why do they do that? Can this be something you and they speak about?

The more independently you function, the better or more likely your level of confidence to handle situations independently. Is that worth talking about maybe? Explaining that it is good for you to improve?

Ill have to change my psychiatrist and maybe it doesnt work for positive symptoms like Zyprexa. It a stronger AP than Abilify and Latuda so more negative sympyoms than these. I am really stuck in my bed.

I cant be independent, I feel intellectually disabled as I cant manage money and I wouldnt be taking my meds if I my parents werent taking care of me

You won’t know if it will work until you try.
You can’t stay in bed all day long everyday.

I do risky behaviours when I try to be independent.

They will not always be there for you. We have plenty of forum members I’ve noticed in this forum, who try their best to be as independent as possible.

It doesn’t mean literally live on your own. It just means make decisions for yourself. Humans are adaptable , even sz affected persons. You can learn to deal with and fix your impulsive nature and then you won’t gamble your money or be violent. It takes patient practice surely?

Have you talked to you doctor about switching to Geodon?

8 January, pretty sure he willl refuse. He said there is no meds for negative symptoms and that its me who isnt doing an effort to get out of bed. He blames me for my negative symptoms.

I think you’re beating yourself up so bad you’ve knocked yourself out. Stop punishing yourself. You are worthy.
