I want to quit taking it when I see my pdoc in January. I just don’t like it. It’s helping very little. It doesn’t help with my delusions.you know worrying. Hallucinations of black orbs.
Don’t I have a say about my meds?

You do have a say. It will be helpful for you to talk with your doctor in January and try something new.
Thanks. It’s hard to keep taking it but I have to. Louise I’m hearing voices
The bedroom is silent. I heard “you’re kidding?” And. “I don’t care” that one was offish I thought it was saying something else. I have to tell my pdoc my voices are getting worse
I think the neighbors are after me again.
Whore . Other ■■■■ I can’t decipher. Idk anymore.
You definitely have a say in your treatment @roxanna. Like @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter said, talk to your pdoc when you next see them. Sorry the Latuda isn’t working out.
Latuda didn’t work for me. I was on a very high dose along with risperdal. I thought it was a sugar pill lol. I like vraylar but some people think it is too activating.
Latuda is the only AP I take. Yeah I know. I don’t see any positive change
I’ll be so happy if he at least tried vraylar
At this point I think that you should see a different psychiatrist.
You are not getting any better.
Have you mentioned perphenazine?
It helped you in the past.
Reading all your posts, I’ve thought for a while now that your Latuda isn’t working for you. I definitely agree with asking your pdoc to change your meds. Is there any way you can be seen before January?
@roxanna
Can you make a new appointment before January? You do not have to suffer this way.
I remember you being on a very low dose of latuda?
You may need a higher dose?
You could talk to your Dr.
I am on 40mg latuda in the morning and 80mg at night.
It’s questionable if it is too activating for me with hysteria etc and the darn jaw clenching that is so hard…
But mainly it’s good and helps me.
The only side effect I had on olanzapine was 23 kg weight gain.
Ian on 129 mg of latuda.
I was on 40 then 80 and now 120.
They were talking about hospitalising me but instead they gave me a higher dose of latuda and I immediately got better.
I also got horrid jawclenching but that has settled a little bit.
I just remembered you being on such a tiny dose that such a small dose is not even enough to treat schizophrenia symptoms.
Good wishes for to you.
It was a wonder drug for me until I got akasthisia and had to come off it
He raised me up to 100mg.
Ok.
Hope you and your Dr will find something that helps you.
Yeah i am on Latuda and have akathisia. I was on 140mg and she lowered it to 120mg and the akathisia partially went away. I am now taking propanolol to help with the sporadic akathisia i still have. We’ll see how that goes.
I was on like 180 mg of Latuda and Risperdal. It didn’t do ■■■■.
I think you need a new psychiatrist. The one you currently have isn’t helping you at all. You do have a say in your treatment.
