I don't have any symptoms for months

Both negative and positive symptoms. No symptoms at all.
I have this idea, which is becoming stronger and stronger… That SZ was never the case.

Or it’s just the case that the meds are working?

And… Honestly. If it truly were just drug induced psychotic experience. I don’t know if I fully belong to this place.

@everhopeful it’s the news I dont want yet to talk about. I feel big pressure here to say that meds in every case is crucial. But I honestly don’t think so.

To clarify.

If the reason behind multiple psychotic experiences is unclear. Yeah. Meds are like… number 1.

If in case like mine, where I fall into long psychotic episode after gram of amphetamine (which is deadly in some cases), and the fact that I feel more stable, and better every year… it’s a different situation.

Every case is very unique. I know there are people who will say big big no to my thoughts here.
And it’s very normal to have different opinions. Because psychiatry is honestly a bit dark and not very known field.

It’s a classic reaction to drug induced psychosis. Many people are likely to do drugs again or stop meds because of your conclusion. Then it gets worse.

Okay. I am glad you know better than me. @Matthias

I wish I wouldn’t.

 such a nice and warm person. Which knows everything. Cool.
You ever considered to stop pretending to be so wise?

@anon8411913 Who here is to go against your psychiatrist or doctor. I guess everybody here is concerned about you in the long run. What is the concern what’s best for you in the long run. because now you are doing beautifully. So everybody’s concerned about your future. But how many times is it said we’re not doctors here. This place is for recovery. my goodness you’re in a good place right now. The goal of everybody here would definitely be to be off medication and symptom-free. I just think everybody here is concerned about your future and your life in the long run. I see how it’s conflicting with your situation and what you’ve expressed here and communicated here about what your situation. If your psychiatrist is saying it’s possible for you to go on with your life without medication and symptoms What better news could your psychiatrist give you.

I think the best option to figure that out is to have your dr help you wean off meds while monitoring you, and see what happens.

But make sure to be monitored just in case

Every case is different but for me I have accepted I’ll need meds. I had no psychosis positive negative symptoms for a decade before trying to go off them. Didn’t end well. I think I just have too much anxiety
