It sounds like your not at the point of going to a gym yet. You need to get your depression under xontrol before you go doing something that takes a lot out of us. You may even be in a vicious cycle of self defeating since your depressed, you don’t work out, and you don’t work out since your depressed.

I don’t know if I am truly depressed … but I am not confident enough couse I failed many times with gym

Have you been to a doctor yet to get checked out? It sounds like your depressed just from what you’ve put out there.

There’s nothing wrong with being depressed or taking medication for it, but you have to see a doctor in order to be prescribed anything. The hardest time is the first time

Going to the gym really helps with depression. You don’t have to have really intense workouts or lift heavy weights to get benefits. I feel better just from lifting light weights and doing light cardio even if it’s only for about fifteen minutes a day. Start out slow and easy and build up over time to longer and harder workouts so you’ll feel much better. It’s not a race. Take your time.

I was on antidepressants earlier but they only make it worse

I have no motivation to exercises I will consider it maybe I go … I just don’t want to throw my money :grinning:

You can exercise at home and outside for free by doing body weight exercises and walking, jogging, running and biking. I lack motivation to workout too and don’t want to spend money on a gym membership either so I bought weights and a stationary bike so I can stay home and not have to waste time and money going to a gym.

u can do bodyweight exercises at home. just buy urself a pull up bar for like 25$

I stopped going to the gym and go for long walks. I get really anxious at the gym and the cardio is too much.
