Well done. I wish I never started. Doc said I have permanent necrotic tissue in my chest from smoking, and I only smoked for about 2 years. I quit over 2 years ago.

Good luck! Is the nicotine already out of your system? Do you still have strong cravings? Are you taking anything or have a replacement?

None of that. I do drink coffee, coffeine and astronomical numbers of sugar drinks. I eat a lot and crave junk food, and sweets.

I have hallucinations at night , my body twiches waking me up while sleeping , my stomach hurts sometimes, i feel tired and my body makes weird noises.

My eyes feel tired all the time and i have strong fears which are almost real, like people cutting my throat, people attacking me from behind my back. All which i never had before but im glad i quit

I remember reading of someone on this forum who used to spend half of their income on cigs.

I’ve quit for 4 years now and am still very happy about it.

Keep going!

How long has it been?

I just passed the 14 year barrier.

Apparently it takes 15 years to maximize the benefits of quitting smoking according to both the Canadian and American Cancer Societies.
