I did a little exercise yesterday

50 sit ups and 50 squats and 10 pushups - i couldn’t do more.
But aiming for 100 of each.
Not sure it will help lose weight though.

Watch your portion size especially with rice and pasta. It will help with weight loss but it’s all about balance!

Nothing is ever easy but if you keep that up over a couple of weeks and watch what you eat you will find some success!

Wow, you did all that? I’m impressed.

Thanks guys…
Yeah rice, pasta and bread and potatoes…that’s not to say i will not be eating those things…
As for the push ups I suck at those I did the wall push ups… But I am going to try on the ground too…
And I will walk to the bus stop (but I will skip a few bus stops for extra walking)

Wow - 50 sit ups and squats. I think i would cramp up like a pretzel if i tried that. Well done! If you want to lose weight, though, you should look at walking or slow jogging. You need to perform aerobic exercises to burn calories. Sit ups and squats are still good, but they’re more muscle building than calorie burning. Still good effect. Well done @anon80629714

Yeah I will be walking 30 minutes to the bus stop as I go work and 30 minutes back if I can manage that today I am in pain.

A combination of the following:

  1. Consume less calories eaten and burn more calories
  2. Aerobic Exercises - Cardiovascular exercises such as running, swimming & biking for 30 minutes to 1 hour (brings up your heart rate “bpm=beats per minute”)
  3. Anerobic Exercises - Lift some heavy weights

I am not sure I will go back to the gym, either this or I need to find one more local…

Exercise has some factor in weight loss but really it’s all about what you eat and the quantity you eat.

I feel like physical activity helps with appetite regulation. Do you agree @anon35453467 ? At least I think it may for me.

Good for u for doing all those squats @anon80629714
I find those particularly difficult.

Physical activity burns more calories than say no activity at rest. Appetite regulation would depend on how a person would restrict or not restrict themselves from eating.

I do agree with @anon35453467, exercise is important as is dietary control but I guess something for me is better than doing nothing at all.
