You’re very lucky, you found a good husband. In Ireland there is a high percentage of people with schizophrenia who are single. Probably because you need support, which I’ve mostly lacked.

Yes, @anon6551389 I’m very grateful for my husband. I love him so much! He is kind, generous, thoughtful and he has a huge heart.

Hey, I’m younger than you but I totally get it. I’m almost 20 and I’ve been signed off to my parents as my legal guardians because I can’t live independently (thanks, mental illness, physical disabilities, and impulsive spending habits) and sometimes the humiliation sets in pretty hard. I hope things will look up for you and that your husband can help you with living.

Thank you! I’m hoping to have the guardianship changed to partial or removed completely by the time I’m 25 or so, but I’m not a clairvoyant, so. :woman_shrugging:
