I’m not picky with food. Over a month I basically buy and eat the same thing all the time. I always buy my stables, bread, milk, and eggs,. If I can’t be bothered to cook I can eat scrambled eggs and toast for 4 evening meals in a row, sometimes I add sausages. I’m trying to keep my food budget down to £35 a week which is very easy for me to do.
What are your food stables and how much a week is your food budget?
I do not eat the same thing all the time, so I’m not sure much would qualify as a ‘staple’, but lately I have been getting a lot of fruit. Cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, pineapple, blueberrries, and the like.
As I started with a good fitness Programm I just eat food with lots of protein. So mostly I eat tuna, yogurt, chicken for two month straight. At the weekend I cheat with junk food like McDonald’s
I’m not going to say how much I spend on food, but it’s a lot! It 's far easier for me to read about inexpensive and healthy meals, batch cooking etc, than to actually put it into practice! EF difficulties play a large part in that. I’m also not a great lover of things like beans, lentils and pulses etc
