You can go over all your actions with a fine tooth comb and pick out things you wish you did differently. But at the end of the day, the important part is you stood up for your aunt and yourself. She will feel safer around you. And, as an added bonus, this guy might start leaving you alone. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

Why do you let him in? Just don’t and call the police immediately while he waits outside.

My other aunt let him in. They were talking to him calmly but he wasn’t getting the message. After 30 mins I had to do something

This demonstrates he has no respect for anyone other than himself, and he’s giving off major abuser red flags.
You absolutely did the right thing by calling the police. And you should call them again every single time he comes.

go down and file a restraining order for your own benefit…explain what happened and say what you told us about him mentioning the tumor…that should do it…
