I bought sarcosine on amazon 3 days before and i take 4 pills yesterday and now i’m nervous. So i want to decrease with only 2 pills a day. I tell you the result of this reduction in the days later. Each pill of sarcosine contains 500 mg.
Weird world but from experience most psych meds take weeks to take affect. I’d imagine it’s the same process.

I’ve done sarcosine. I think it helped with negatives and boosted my mood. I’m high strung anyways though. I might give it another go someday.
I’m trying sarcosine now. 2000mg divided in day and evening dose.

I found Sarcosine on Amazon.ca but it’s over $100 for 60 chewable tablets (with 1000 mg in each one). Is this normal?

I think you get 120 1000mg chewables for about 50dollars at nootropics depot.
I think that’s only in the US. There’s probably duty fees if I order from the US.

I can’t afford to spend the extra $50 a month. I’m on disability. In fact, many of those with schizophrenia aren’t known for having a lot of income, so it’s a shame some things are so expensive. I buy a multi-vitamin and that prevents a lot of colds and gives me more energy. The last time, the multi-vitamin was on sale, half off, for $8.00 (on a 150 chewable jar).
There was some scientific evidence that sarcosine helped with the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. Tell us how your experience is, we will be attentive!
The cheap stuff from Amazon doesn’t seem to work well for me. I normally purchase through BrainVitaminz.

I see they sell it in liquid form. How many tsp are in each bottle?
No idea. I have only ever bought it in powder form.
Oh, I didn’t know they carry powder too. Their site is a bit confusing. Or maybe I’m having a confusing day.

Did you buy the Nootropics Depot brand?
I find that 1 gram of Sarcosine doesn’t dissolve well in water or milk. If I put one gram in the bottom of a glass, add 8 oz of milk and stir, and then drink there will always be a significant amount of Sarcosine left in the bottom of the glass. I find that the only way to ingest all the sarcosine is stir the liquid three of four times while drinking.
