I bought a card to donate money to desperate people

I bought a debit card so I could give a monthly donation to sick people, and I have this terrible feeling that the money is being stolen. If you are willing to deprive starving babies so you can have a pretty dress you are low. I don’t know what to say about it. I’m giving the money on the card to Doctors without Borders in $30 monthly installments. They need to stop high jacking that money before they get in real trouble.

Who is stealing your money?

If you see a transaction that is erroneous just report it to your bank or credit card company. Normally, they will investigate.

I used to volunteer with homeless children’s education fund and sponsored a child.

I thought about being a big brother now that my son has graduated and moved out. People can’t believe I’m old enough for that. Either can I!

I bought a $500 card that I intended to make donations of $30 a month off of until the money was gone on that card. I haven’t kept close track, but it seems to me that there should be three $30 donations off the card when all I get when I check is two donations. I really wouldn’t put it past them to steal money off the card. It seems irregular to me.

I’m sorry, but you have to be starving to get it. Good luck, tho’.

That’s what I think the woman handling this wants. She should know better.

You have made quite a few posts as I recall where you fear someone is exploiting you economically. I doubt all that is happening. For example no one in the bank would rip you off for small numbers, because if they got caught they would lose their job and possibly look at jail time. I think bank employees earn enough that stealing is rare. I mean it happens, but then it’s usually like 100 000 dollars or more, otherwise it wouldn’t be worth the risk I guess.

I hope you’re right. I’d hate to see $500 that could have helped desperate people go to waste.
