We have an Alexa. We mostly use her to turn on the lamps in our house, we have two for the living room and master bedroom, and one for my room. She also makes a good kitchen timer. My parents are constantly setting times while they’re cooking, she can have about two timers at a time going and you can ask her how long you have on either timer. If you set it up she can also play songs from websites like Amazon music, Pandora, Spotify, and iHeart radio. Plus she can play you the top news stories trending on NPR, tell you the current weather and at least the weather for tomorrow. I don’t know how far she can go with that though.

Alexa also good if you have questions, but she doesn’t know a lot. She’s good with Celebrity information like ages, and if/how they’ve died and what age.We don’t have any kids though so I don’t know how well it is for them. The only bad thing about her is she annoys my cat to no end for some reason. Anytime we have her tell us something the cat will fuss at it. My cat one time walked up to her and tapped her with her paw while it was talking but didn’t get a response from it.
