I binged 3x last week

I really fell off my diet last week and binged on 3 different days. I’m so frustrated with myself, but the Zyprexa they put me on makes me want to eat all the time. So what happens is I’ll eat one trigger food and then my black-and-white thinking is like “well, you messed up now! Screw the diet!” and i keep eating things i shouldn’t. I’ve also been off the Mounjaro for about a month now and that’s not helping. I reached my target weight a couple of months ago but now i feel like I’m gaining weight again (but i won’t weigh myself, it’s a trigger). I need to forgive myself and just get back on my diet but I’m really down about it. I’m just glad that i don’t purge like i did when i was younger, i don’t need even more health problems. Oh, i need to get rid of all the trigger foods in my house!

I suspect that’s the reason

Why did you have to stop mounjaro @WhiteRaven ? Is that maybe not helping?

I feel you though. I get so out of it sometimes at late night after I take antipsychotics. Like loopy and I over eat and it doesn’t feel good at all. I try to focus on good choices and exercise during the day as much as my brain allows.

I hope you feel better.

Yep, Zyprexa is notorious for significantly increasing hunger. While I wasnt calorie counting when I was on it, i’d estimate I was eating about 4000 to 5000 calories a day on it.

Now that i’m off it, im satisfied with 1500 to 1750 calories a day.

My primary care provider said that i didn’t need it anymore since i got to my target weight and wasn’t having blood sugar issues…I’m gonna ask to go back on it when i see him next month.

Yeah that’s pretty rough. I think a lot of Ap’s are notorious for increasing hunger. I swear I eat like a bird during the day but after I take my Loxapine at night I’m like the Cookie Monster.
