I become very tired on geodon and I sleep throughout the day and get very little sleep at night. Does anyone else experience the same?
How long have you been on it?
I never had that issue even on the heavier doses.
For the past month or so.
I was on Geodon between 2012-2013. I was on 160 mg. The reason I came off was because I couldn’t stay awake.
I am currently on Geodon again as of the end of August. This time I have insomnia so I am starting a tricyclic antidepressant tonight at bedtime, after my prescription arrives from the mail order pharmacy.
I’m guessing the difference is due to how the Geodon mixes with the rest of my med cocktail. I don’t remember my mix from the first time, but this time I take it with 400 mg of Lamictal and 40 mg of Prozac.
The Geodon is working great this time. Not so much last time, but I guess it’s hard to be psychotic when you sleep 17 hours a day.

I initially had these issues but they wore off. I’d say wait it out.

@whirling-leaves Geodon makes you extremely sleepy when you first start on it for the first year or so. So sleepy that it is actually very dangerous to drive. This effect wears off with time.

Geodon made it impossible to sleep for me for most of 20 years. Please remember Geodon X 2 = 2 x 500 kcal fatty food to make it work optimally.
