It is so stinking cold out. Just the idea of leaving the house makes me ill. And my monster car heats so slowly. And yes I am complaining.
But here’s the positive. I got $300 in gift cards for the store and I can use them for pick up. Very glad about that.
But I still hate the cold.

I don’t know how you make it through those low temperatures. Right now, it’s only 39°F, and it’s freezing. The cold is growing on my, however. I used to hate it, but I sort of like it now. I wish it would snow here.

Right now the temp is 4°f

Damn… I don’t envy you. I am starting to like more reasonably cold weather, that is from about 35 to 65 degrees. 4°F and I think I’d literally die.

That’s not even near how cold it gets
Monster as in land yacht? I approve!
She’s not kidding. We’ll hit -50F with wind chill during cold snaps.

The hood gets to the store 5 minutes before the trunk

What do you wear in -50f? The coldest it has ever been here on record was -20f according to the weather man in winter of 94.

I got a $100 grocery store card from my Pops. Came in handy just yesterday.
Hope you get it done okay despite the cold @FatMama .

Damn near everything. Exposed skin freezes in under a minute.
Hope to be in about ten years, but not to Arizona (which is crammed with older Canadians in the winter - we call them Snowbirds).

Search for stores in your area that deliver groceries. There are several in the US. But that way, you won’t have to go out for groceries. Not sure if this is close but this store delivers: https://www.winnipeggrocery.com

Thanks. Winnipeg is pretty far but I just found out Canadian superstore does delivery. I’ll see how much it costs

Cool! I use a delivery service that you pay $99/ year and any order that costs at least $35 is delivered for free. It’s awesome. I can use it for 2 different stores too.
