Hopefully i get it, it could lead to a job maybe
I used to do it at a food bank until it was no longer required by the workers here. The free grocery was a good incentive!
Be careful if you’re on SSDI. Otherwise sounds great.
Good luck with it @daydreamer.
Good luck @daydreamer.
Thanks guys, its a social media volunteer which is right up my street, i will be designing & posting tik tok videos about freedom, its a big topic and hopefully it works out, its 7 hrs a week minimum from home mostly for 3 months. I think i heard tiktok was taken down in the US but idk.
Good luck @daydreamer
Volunteering can be very rewarding and beneficial all round. Hope you find it so @daydreamer
Thanks Man & welcome to this forum, i hope you feel welcome here.
I had a call from my job coach today as well & she is meeting me in the Library near me in a week to discuss work from home jobs, i asked if i could work entirely from home but she said most are a hybrid and say 3 days in the office & 2 from home, its not bc i cant work in an office its just bc i get very tired easily due to chronic fatigue.
anyway it was funny bc when i got the call i went to another table for privacy and i went to sit on this seat with wheels and fell on my ass, totally missed the chair, and was holding a glass and went into a backwards roll and didn’t spill any water.
I’d like to find a work from home job.
I’m hoping it’ll be part time and not interfere, i want to try and build up to good job if i can but i don’t want to risk my benefits yet, i think its a delicate process, its a huge risk bc a lot of the time it just doesn’t work out, i don’t think one should stop trying though.
I don’t want to lose SSI if I get a job. If the job doesn’t work out then I’m screwed.
Its the same in the uk, i think they might be trying to put in place a work around for that though to make it easier to transition, i need to talk to my enable worker about it. i wouldnt want to be left with less.
Hopefully they do.
