Do you think that neighbours ever get offers to spy on people? My husband says this is not realistic. But I keep my blind closed a lot . Sometimes I sit where they cant see me and so I noticed a side window propped open where they could fit a camera through. It’s was cold so they wouldnt open all the way. There are 2 homes that I think could be paid. A couple of others are suspect. They are getting desperate because I have cut off so many abilities to get information about me in oher ways so they’ve stooped to using my neighbours

Are you a target or just suspicious?
Target. I can’t go anywhere without being followed. I go out many places to be with my husband and try be normal but I always have fear. Iseecars following all the time. I see cars parked that probably have video cameras in them. I’m afraid that my Google account is hacked. I was in a store and there was a guy with a cell phone following me in every all that I went to no matter where I went and I made it so it would be obvious he was following me and he had cell phone and I think he was videotaping me. I left and went into the car telling my husband that I wasn’t feeling well and then I watch for the guy to come out. Cars follow us and I think that our cars have GPS trackers in them. My husband keeps saying he’ll check for the GPS trackers are vehicle but he hasn’t done a full inspection yet.
My husband doesn’t believe that it’s reasonable that the neighbors would be paid to spy me. But he took the blinds down tonight just to paint a wall and I was sick to my stomach.
Try not to worry Insightseeker. I know dealing with those kind of symptoms is difficult. I think your husband is right. It isn’t realistic. When I had similar symptoms, it took awhile until I finally began to think rationally. I thought to myself, “Why would someone be spying on me?” For some time I had delusional thoughts that maybe it was the government. I kept thinking, “What makes me so special that they’d be spying on me?” Until finally I came to realize, no one was spying on me. It also helped to research symptoms of schizophrenia paranoia. The thought of someone spying on us sufferers tends to be a common symptom. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, I hope you won’t worry too much.

My husband understands that there are reasons that a particular someones organizations would want some information on me. But he thinks it’s ridiculous on how far I think they will go.

I don’t understand how a brain structure thing makes a psychological symptom. How is that a symptom? I don’t even know if it’s a symptom or a reality. I don’t have a firm diagnosis yet. Maybe it’s real to have these suspicions. But if it is Sz or Sza or sztyp then how would a brain structure make me think this ? It’s very confusing. I just don’t see how some things like this could be in a brain structure.

Paranoia is def a symptom… It actual seems easier for the brain to trigger paranoid delusions than vivid visual hallucinations… I would guess its fear based giving you a false sense of being watched… We Sz and sza seem to take normie thoughts and emotions…suspicion in this case… and add a seemingly plausible back story and take it 10 levels too far…
Its called paranoid delusions. I get them too. You just have to listen to the person who loves you which is your husband. Trust him, he’s the voice of reason. Having delusions does not make you a bad person, it is just an illness that makes our brains and perceptions go haywire. It’s not your fault.
Hopefully as time goes by, you will see that you are wrong and that no one has any reason to spy on you.
We’re not important enough to have people spy on us.

So a normal suspicion becoming ten times worse. It’s weird that a brainwood pick certain things to manifest like paranoia is very specific. I’ll keep working on it it’s really tough. It hasn’t been this difficult for quite a while now, not to this degree.

I’m not sure myself. I’m not a doctor but from what I understand, medications for sz are meant to treat the symptoms and not the actual illness. If I remember correctly, schizophrenia is cause by an imbalance in brain chemicals but I’m not too sure science has it figured out yet. I think meds would be better if they treated the illness and not just the symptoms. As flameoftherhine mentioned paranoia is a symptom of schizophrenia. I’m not sure about your diagnosis but having thoughts of persecution or of being watched are common with the illness that is schizophrenia paranoia.

It’s nice just to have someone to talk to. I have to hold a lot of this stuff inside. It’s bad enough that my husband has a wife who’s wearing her Hood up or wanted to sneak in the car or afraid of our house and car being bugged. Last thing he needs is hearing me talk about this. Yea like a normie might think the neighbor is grabbing his paper off his porch… So where that normie would just make sure to get the paper quicker next time…to some of us It becomes this grand design and you start connecting dots that have no business being connected… And all of a sudden your peeking out of your blinds with the lights off thinking every car that drives by is a spy… It happens but it is nice when you can get a hold on it and laugh about it…

The neighbors to the left of me are all pot growers. They even have a camera facing my house. I checked my state laws and I can legally sue them for $4000 for filming my private residence. But with lawyer fees I’d only get about $1000,so it’s not worth the feuding that will happen afterwards. Cops won’t do dick about it either. I think their being paid to look the other way. So it’s best to not make a big stink about it.

Yes this is what my concern is. It can happen. I think there’s a good chance it is. They are getting less and less ways to collect information as I outsmart them.

We are getting a camera added to our security system. They will install it right though not at someone’s house.
