I am scared!

WARNING: MENTION ABOUT POLITICS

I don’t want to be political, but I am not feeling well and need to get this out of my chest. I am sorry!

I am scared, I have Adjustment Disorder, after watching too much news about war crimes on Ukraine and after being teased in the past.

I have a deluded view of the word that it’s either it’s extremely dark and twisted or full of rainbows. It feels like a derealization.

I just want war crimes on Ukraine to stop, please! :sob: :sob: :sob:

I thought the med change helped you…

Do you have a psychiatrist and see him?

So what did the pdoc diagnose you with? Stick to that and trust your pdoc diagnosis. Hopefully therapy will help you.

I agree. At least I started to feel much better when I had enough sleep. That means my medications are working as well.

I went through what you are going right now. I still have mild cases of being triggered. There is no magical solution.

Maybe it will help you calm down to know that I live in central Ukraine. Sharpnel from last few rocket strikes reached my late grandmother’s house and glass windows in my own house were dangerously close to shattering from the shockwave.

And I don’t care. A person who is actively mixed in the war cares less than you do about the situation. So why bother yourself?

You have to avoid your triggers by any means necessary. If it means throwing your TV out of the window, do it. If it means to never speak to an old friend of your ever again, delete their contacts immediately. It won’t help instantly, but it is a start that is necessary. If you were already triggered, you will just have to wait and suffer a few days before it stops. The most important thing is to never let that happen again by avoiding your triggers.

I was wondering if there was someone on this forum from Ukraine.

I wish you all the best.

And glad to see you still have internet!

Stay away from things that trigger you.
