I am hypoglycaemic

For two weeks I have felt weak, hungry and cotton headed.

I first noticed it after eating a lot of pasta. My first thought was type 2 diabetes as per the carbs.

I eat big meals after that as I worried about insulin spikes.

Anyway today I got a blood sugar meter. This morning it said I was HYPOglycaemic. This came as a shock.

In fact I was abnormally drank some . I sweet tea which helped up the glucose.

3 hours ago I had a normal sugar level. But 2 hours ago I had a curry with white rice.

2 hours later when I tested again I was borderline hypo again.

I am a walking advert for diabetes risk factors and this low sugar is unnerving.

After some internet I saw propranolol can cause hypoglycaemia. I was taking that daily over the holidays.

Tbh I pray it’s that as that is fixable. Other causes I came across were scary

Anyone have experience with hypos? Particularly in people without diabetes?

Sorry for the long post

I have or have had hypoglycemia. It’s not hard to manage. My sister and I took a class on it at the local hospital when we were younger. The suggestion is to eat small frequent meals to manage hypoglycemia.
