I don’t trust doctors. I know better than them and I haven’t even been to medical school!!

Or better yet, go to webmd and u can diagnose urself with whatever ur hearts desire. I had that bullsh##ologist attitude once, but once u get a physical issue that has u shaking in ur boots ur whole attitude changes.

Exactly! Also, the same goes for plumbers! I’ve never even watched a Youtube self-help video and I replaced the washer in my kitchen tap! I’m even getting used to the two feet of water in the basement now!
A good shrink is something you don’t take lightly.
I ran into mine years ago…with a depressive break…he was just starting out but he’s top shelf.
Psychiatry is an art in his opinion and I agree with that. We talk …he assess how I react and respond to certain topics…we talk about pills, about life…we move on all in less than 15 minutes…
He knows my moods and he knows if I’m struggling …once every 6 weeks for over 18 years now…!

Well I’m not sure about that but I do think Doctors very often go by the book and there is no space outside of that. And personally I think there needs to be in the realm of mental health. We’re not statistics on a chart.
