I almost always have a cheap pair of cheater 2x glasses on my head these days

I almost might as well attach arms on the side of my head to move them up and down.

Drive: Glasses up. Read any small to medium text : glasses down. See a face : glasses up. Look at something up close : glasses down. etc etc

I will never make the mistake of getting the cheap lense in my second eye.

As it stands now my right eye can see distance stuff pretty well, but is blurry as hell up close. My left eye has the focus to see stuff up close but is cloudy.

So…next time the cataract goes in left eye, its going to cost me 3 grand…if the price hasnt gone up by then , that is.

Do you have Medicare? I thought Medicare covered cataract surgery, but maybe I’m wrong.

It was awhile back but I dont think they cover the expensive lense or all the cost of the surgery.

Ok. I have mild cataracts right now so I’m good for now. Hopefully I won’t need anything expensive

The cheap lense only helps with distance vision. The expensive one makes it so you can see far away and close.

I see. I’ll just get the cheap surgery and wear reading glasses. Actually I currently wear progressive lenses so I’ll just keep doing that
