We talk on the phone every Thursday night. I call her. But, lately, she doesn’t answer and it causes me stress because I worry. It’s always that she had turned her phone off, forgot it was Thursday., or couldn’t get to the phone on time. I’m sick of it and I let her know in voice mail. I’ve been the lowly little sister too long.

It’s ok to get upset sometimes. Hopefully, she’ll apologize and make it right.
She should make time for you. Blood relations are meant to be there for one another. It is important that family ties are kept for people because it is a vital part of the identity we form.
It’s good you expressed your upset, I hope she registers it and then makes amends.
Don’t do anything to sour your siblingship though!

Thank you, everybody. She did call and apologized. She said she was in the next room and didn’t hear the phone ring. Just getting old and a little deaf maybe.

Keep calling her, my friend does this to me sometimes. A whole week no answer.
