Anyone been on it? Will you please share your experience?

Im on it for anxiety. It doesnt really do much for me unfortunately, except make me sleepy

It’s a really weak med for anxiety. The psych hospitals give it out alot though.

100mg makes you really tired and is good for sleep. I was always way tired the next day. Don’t know about anxiety. If I took it for a while then stopped I would get like restless nerves in my neck at bedtime for a few days so I quit taking it. No dependency other than that wierdness.

My psychiatrist said to take 50-100mg. I took 50. I slept for 13 hours. I had been sleeping for four. I do feel tired the next day.

I took 25mg 3x a day. It was just one of those meds I had to be on. Had no benefit

I got you on the sedating! I slept for 13 hours last night and 2.5 hours today after just one dose yesterday!
What do you mean by drying?

It’s related to benadryl so it has antihistamine action of drying up mucus membranes.

By drying I mean its a diuretic as well

I think your maybe confusing vistaril with another med. It is an antihistamine, but is sedating so it’s used for anxiety and sleep.
