Anyone have any tips? I get them really bad and they make me anxiouse, irritated and paranoid. I try to not think about then but they find their way into every part of my life so its hard to think of other things. Their usually negative too and make me feel terrible. I want them to stop but i cant seem to make them.
The only thing I can think of is music. I use music a ton to get rid of them.

Can you listen though the computer? Maybe try to draw something?
Yea o can sometimes but i am usually busy doing things that need to be done

I have that too. This week I’m doing much better. Comes and goes…
you need to reinforce positive thoughts… when I get sick, my boyfriend tells me… nobody gives a ■■■■ about you… everybody is busy… nobody is watching you or trying to harm you. you are free and secure. Live your life, enjoy and just focus on getting better. So think good thoughts… go out for a walk, eat some ice cream or do some watercolour. I love to say some prayers sometimes. Helps a lot.
i think its good to have something to focus on, something that you enjoy and that you can concentrate fully on, i think intrusive thoughts happen when we are not paying attention to something and we let our guard down, i like to believe in good things, a better future and i believe in the good in people so i always try to help, its good to have things to focus your energy on and provide that drive that you need to go forward (i believe that in these conditions that it is harder to get intrusive thoughts)
I have a lovely bf and he helps me a lot. Wouldnt trade him.
Yea i sometimes use things like breathing or counting. It can help sometimes. But can be hard when i get the intrusive thoights while im trying to concentrate on doing things. Like when i participate in karate.
Yea my bf is really helpful says lots of nice things. Which is how i manage to not completely lose it all the time haha. Still something im working on. And even when i s3nd positive thoughts they dont always hold put against the negative ones.

Its nice to have a loving bf. My doctor long time ago said some good ways to deal with intrusive thoughts are remind yourself that there totally normal;everyone has intrusive thoughts so you have no reason to be ashamed of them or their content.
Its not that im ashamed of them its that their really negative and hurt me. They make me feel bad. Their also disstracting and bother me while im doing thingsm such as working out.
I’m sorry they make you feel bad and distracts you. Mine makes me feel super anxious and nervous.
