I was in for 30 days. It’s a long time but just use the time to let your brain heal and get used to the meds.

I was diagnosed in March with psychosis I think

So you got diagnosed in March. Then what happened? Fine for a bit then hospitalized?

I got diagnosed at the hospital.
I was fine after getting out then they admitted me again in June-July

Do you have access to your phone? They are doing something wrong

Either way. You might as well just stay there. You get food and a place to hang out for a while. 3 months is a long time though, do you get to use your phone?

Yeah I do have access to my phone, though not all of the time. Just for few hours a day, why?

Idk if its 3 months but it may be 3 months
And yes but for a limited amount of time a day

Usually they don’t let you use your phone. I’m glad I couldn’t use mine cause I thought I could transfer thoughts through my phone and see through walls with it.

They never gave me the phone when i was hospitalized

Well its different when youre delusional or manic
Maybe then not but it depends on you

I didn’t tell them that about my phone. Took me two weeks to really talk. I was out of it. Delusional, hallucinated, psychosis. It was a wild first week in the hospital till the meds started kicking in

In my home country - Lithuania. You are always allowed to have a phone, unless you do like crazy stuff like calling lawyers and police. Also we are allowed to wear our own clothes and we got to smoke every 2 hours. Heck i even had a laptop at a mental hospital and was playing league of legends on my spare time. Also some patients in good conditions are even allowed to go into town into a cafe or town store.

Same in Finland

You can escape, but you are legal prisoner. Police is allowed to arrest you and bring you back. By doing this you will stay in a hospital even longer
