How often do you go therapy? What do you talk about?
I see my therapist every month. We usually just talk about how i’m doing, how my mood’s been, how i’m dealing with things, that kind of thing. We’re not doing any specific kind of therapy like CBT or anything. It’s really just a session to talk with someone who understands a bit more than the average person. I find that it helps.

I just got back from my therapist a couple minutes ago. We talk about my fears. Fears of thunderstorms and people murdering me.

Thank you for your responses.
I go to counseling every week, sometimes twice. Sometimes I email him or we talk on the phone during the week.
It’s very helpful.
Good for you @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter!
Therapy can be helpful!
You can email your doc? Lucky you, that is a good resource.
Yeah, he’s incredibly nice in that way.
Thanks, @Wave! I’m trying.
I see my therapist weekly. I have two other diagnoses which are PTSD and panic disorder. Right now we’re doing trauma focused cbt. Unraveling the events of my past little by little.
Once a month. We talk about childhood problems and current life problems.
I’ve never been to a therapist.
We’re pretty diverse around here.
I see a music therapist once every week and a talk therapist once every month. Going to see her on Wednesday actually.

A music therapist? That’s cool!
I see my social worker every two weeks and my psychologist once a month.
My insurance only covers twice a month visits. I can go to groups twice a week if I want.
I didn’t know you could speak with a social worker. That’s great!
I would definitely be into going to groups if I could find them. So helpful!
I see my social worker twice a week and we do DBT skills. I also see my pdoc once monthly.
