Wondering, because I’ve always been fearful that if I don’t get enough sleep I will experience psychotic symptoms. I would love to wake up at 7 a.m and go to bed at 10 p.m. But I’ve always been worried ill experience symptoms. What are your experiences with sleep?
I used to sleep 15+h a day when I started Risperdal. Now I drink coffee all day so I don’t sleep all day and be on this forum. Now I sleep about 9h.
i sleep about 8 to 9 hours. i notice when i get voices it’s late at night before bed. so i think sleep is restorative and helps me keep my symptoms at bay the next day. sometimes i get less or more sleep. i think sleep is part of the puzzle, but meds are most important for me.
I sleep for about 12 hours.
same here but sometimes I get headaches because of sleeping too long I think. I feel like I’m almost addicted to sleep. Its just so damn good
I do best on 11 hours of sleep. If I let myself naturally sleep how much I want until rested its 11 hours. Even when i was off meds, getting 11 hours of sleep regularly drastically improved my symptoms.
9-10 hours. Under that I´m not well functioning.
I can’t put a number to it. It varies so much. I’m trying to achieve a more regular sleeping pattern by the start of next week cos this is turning into a joke
I got a lot of stuff to sleep over. As much as i need. Thanks god. Tomorrow i have another day off.
I used to sleep 12h few months ago. But i sleep 9h at the moment.

My fit bit usually tracks 11 hours of sleep
12 hours at night, 1 or 2 noon nap
Very bad sleeping for me, lucky if i get 5 or 6 hours a night, i have insomnia!. Its hard!
Easily 12 hours a day. Normally a bit longer (13-14). Sometimes when I feel depressed I can sleep a whole day away.
I’m getting about 4 hours at night and picking up a couple more in the morning right now but when I’m depressed I’ll sleep 12 to 14 hours.
I can get by with 5 hours sleep.
I was needing at least 12 hours until about a month ago. Now I’m getting 9-10
I often get 2 sleepless nights followed by a 12 to 14 hour sleep. Messed up
1am to 9am for me is the average. Sometimes an hour nap after lunch. I’m lucky in that I don’t have a sleep issue.
