How much is legit

I don’t know if I am sick and having chest pain and having nerve pain is caused by depression or is depression caused by my physical ailments. The Dr wants me to go make an appt to discuss my blood work. Maybe it will give me some answers.

There’s definitely a link between depression and physical pain.

Good your checking in with your doc! I do blood work every year now. You can check so much stuff and it’s good to know. Most things found out early means a lot better outcomes so don’t be afraid. It’s like mental health. You really have to pay attention and get checked out. Hope it all goes well but it’s great your seeing your normal doctor!

I get blood work done every six months. They have to check my A1C, which is a measure of my blood glucose levels, since I am diabetic. It’s good that you’re seeing your doctor. Hope you get things all worked out.

When I had severe depression, my body was in pain.

I have monthly blood work just for clozapine. But last time I got a full workup.

It’s all related! Once you feel better mentally you will feel better physically too and the other way around.

I think it’s related too.

My psychiatrist told me the head and body are connected through the neck…? Thanks for letting me know?
