I think my weird aches and pains could all be psychological

I am forever getting either aches and pains or weird, vague feeling of flu.

It’s clear now that these arent real so I must conclude I am imagining them?

I don’t think it’s down to sz but maybe mood or something. There is an oft noted, but poorly understood, link between depression and pain

If it continues for a while or gets worse it’s best to get a thorough checkup before calling it depression.

I had aches and pains that kept getting worse plus often felt run down and sick.

After a full work-up, my dr discovered I have autoimmune disease and it’s severe.

I’m now on 2 different chemotherapy type drugs for it.

It’s true and also likely that it’s your depression. However, it’s best to check for blood levels, including iron, hemoglobin, sugar levels, vitamin d, vitamin b12 etc, and autoimmune type issues etc before assuming it’s the depression

Thanks @LilyoftheValley - you are right. I need to have a full work up first. Haven’t really had a full medical for over a decade

You should get a yearly check at the GP

No idea how it got setup but they call me in once a year and do a load of tests

Might be worth enquiring about it as they should be keeping an eye

I can have bad physiological problems, because of the wrong religion. I know; no religion.

I have weird body sensations I can move around by thinking. Stopped on meds.
