How many times have you all been in the mental hospital/behavioral health unit? I have been twice- once for two weeks and another time for only 4 days. Both for psychosis.

I’ve been to psych wards seven times from 2015 to 2019.
Three times. Once for two months. Once for 7 weeks. Once for 6 weeks.
I’ve been in a crisis unit more times than I can remember.
I went twice they were straight after one another.
in october 2016, I ended up in there came out, unmedicated, and one week later was put back in.

Once. For 12 days. Don’t want to go back there. It was full of wackos some of which looked pretty shady.

Three times. First for a few days, second for about 1-2 weeks (can’t remember), and third time was a long stay. Like a month?

Last summer was my last stay. I’m hoping not to go in again. Things have been a fair amount better.

I lost count – usually there for suicide attempts…
I lost count. But I haven’t gone in the last 4 years

I have been more than I’d say 8 times at a guess. It’s all a bit of a blur to be honest
Important thing is it has been two years out of hospital now!

Both my stays in 2016 were for more than a month - 5 weeks total.
My first stay during the 90’s was for Mania

Can’t even imagine being in the hospital in the 90’s. I imagine mental health has come a long way since then
