I’ve been hospitalised four times, between 2016/2017 to 2022, so four time in six years. Age 22 to 26.

I’ve genuinely lost count. It was like a revolving door when I was on seroquel. I’ve been hospital free for 9 years now though.

Once at 11. Once at 16. Then probably 4 or 5 times maybe 6 idk between ages 21 and 24. I am 35 now.

I’ve been to the psych wards for depression, ptsd, and psychosis so many times since 16 years old, I lost count long ago. I’m now 46. And I’ve managed to stay out of the psych ward for 8 years now though so that’s good. I’m still considered psychotic but my current pdoc doesn’t think I need to be seen in the hospital for it thankfully. My old pdoc would constantly put me in the hospital. I hated that. But where I am now, they don’t necessarily always admit you for psychosis.

Three inpatient vacations (2014, 2x in 2015) and several outpatient intensive programs— the latest in 2022.

Shortest: one day. Longest: 8 months.

3 times. First time I escaped and walked all the way home. About 15km. Second time I begged my mom to take me out and got an early release. 3rd time I spent about 11 days. Oh. And twice additionally ambulance took me but I was not admitted.

None. Ended up in emergency twice but my lovely mother said she’d deal with me. Was a bit of a mess but got through it but glad I missed the wards.

Outliers aside we’re averaging about four hospital stays per poster. I guess i can be in brighter spirits and think of myself as free from hospital.
Ive noticed the psychotics spell are less intense as i get older and theres more self control or insight during them. Hopefully applies to us all for our own safety

Twice in 2016. October and again in November.
When I was sectioned in October, the psychosis went away by itself at the hospital, soon after I left, the psychosis came back stronger, I was sectioned again and medicated.
