Voluntary or involuntary?

I’ve been hospitalized eight times all voluntary.

Eleven times, all voluntary. The first one was in 2000.

I’ve been told I had to go whether I wanted to or not. But I’ve always agreed so I didn’t have to go to court over it. I don’t want a court record of forced admissions. I have no idea how many times I’ve been admitted.

I’ve been in the psych hospital 3 times. One for 7 weeks. One for 4 weeks. One for 6 weeks. All voluntary.

Twice, both for about 3 weeks. First was involuntary, second was voluntary

I turned up to emergency twice psychotic but my mother took me in and looked after me. She didn’t want me going to hospital and even with a full house of three other children I didn’t have to spend time on the wards.

She was a good lady that woman!

About 9 or 10 times in 7 different hospitals. All voluntarily too.

24 times, one voluntarily, the rest involuntary, 5 different hospitals between 1996 and 2007.

I’ve been in hospital about 5 times. 3 of those times were voluntary…the remaining 2 were involuntary.

I would guess that I have been hospitalized over twenty times since 1987, when I got my first commitment. Most of them were “voluntary”, mainly because I didn’t know I had any recourse. I fought my commitment in court several times, and I lost.

I can’t remember how many times I have been in. I’d guess around 8-10 times. 6 of which in the last two years.

I found getting used to living alone very hard to start with, but I am over it now.

I hope not to get admitted again, so I will now take my pills and avoid drugs/alcohol

4 or 5 times. The last one in 2008 was involuntary until I decided not to fight it in court and went in voluntarily.

7 or 8 times. The majority voluntary, maybe twice involuntary.

Nine times, all voluntary, but i remember the last time i went (this year Sept) i didn’t want to go but my husband insisted.

Several times I went into psych hospitals voluntary, but within a day the pdoc changed my status to involuntary.
