How many of you have your drivers license

I have my drivers license.

I need the freedom of the open road sometimes.

Makes me not feel so trapped.

I have a driver’s licence and access to a car though I prefer to take public transit to volunteer/work because of rush hour traffic, fuel efficiency and parking.

I have a license and a motorcycle endorsement. Sold my motorcycle though. I drive nearly every day and I own 6 cars only 4 of them have insurance though but two of them belong to my wife. They are just titled and registered in my name.

I was a full-time professional driver (bulk fuel delivery) and am still a spare school-bus driver. I am licensed for anything from a motorbike up to a full-sized passenger bus with air brakes. Only thing I can’t drive is a full tractor/trailer unit. 33 years since my last ticket. Only one accident – hitting a deer in the dark on the highway – 11 years ago (those don’t count against your insurance history).

My doctor knows of my medical issues and signed off on my driver’s medical. I am considered extraordinarily stable.

I have my license and I drive a lot. I’ve put something like 25000 miles on my car in the past year, but I’m hoping to cut down on that by working a more local side job.

I have driver license. It’s great to meet friends and go to anywhere.
Yesterday was 35°C(95℉) and I just went to the beach, it’s great to have that freedom.

I don’t have a license, I’m pretty sure I’d be a terrible driver.
I zone out, I’m easily distracted, and I’m too ā€œniceā€ on the road.

I just recently got my license back. im not as good a driver as I used to be, I find it difficult to drive in heavy traffic.

personally I’d like to be able to live somewhere where I can walk…as long as I can get my groceries somehow i’ll be fine

Not yet. I failed six times and it put me off and now I have to probably rewrite my learners. Aaarrggghhh
I’ve been driving automatic car for five years now. Can’t say I love driving though. I find it nerve wracking!

I have a license but I sold my car because I didn’t use it after I went on disability and didn’t work anymore. I can still drive my husband’s if I need to but he generally takes me where I need to go. I HATE driving - I find it nervewracking and I always think I’m being followed.

I have my license. It’s surprising to them because getting your license requires motivation. My sister has had her learners for like 10 years. I’m a good driver but I was pretty bad, I recently paid over $500 for speeding tickets that were a year old.

I still have my drivers license. Amazingly. I’ve been in a million and one accidents. Most of them my fault. I voluntarily quit driving completely three years ago. I had my auto insurance cancelled three years ago. My license expires in two more years. I’m not going to renew it. I don’t feel safe driving anymore.

My sister is getting to be the same way as me. She is afraid to drive now too. She has her husband drive her to work now. My sister and I are both in our late 50’s.
