I have residual schizophrenia. It’s not as bad anymore. I’m glad my recovery has come this far. I used to be catatonic, but here an there I’ll go int a trance and freeze ,if you will.
My negative symptoms are definitely severe. My basic functioning is wrecked and I can’t learn at all unless I find what i’m learning interesting. In regards to positive symptoms, I get a lot of annoying sensations and delusions, but there’s always a small part of me that stays grounded.

severe cause I spent years not functioning… plus, my pdoc told to my mom that its severe. but whatever, ill make my life one day,hoho… fed up of everybody who says to me its severe, its just makes me more anxious about it… possibility of bpd also in my case plus mood disorder I guess cause I am on Depakote… maybe ill never has kids,thats what thought now but I am still lost.

My “positive symptoms” are in complete remission - no delusions or paranoia whatsoever (I’ve never heard voices). However, I can barely function due to a combination of “negative symptoms” and medication side effects - more so because of the latter. Before I was put on Risperdal (my current AP), I was on Abilify, and could function pretty well; I had mild negative symptoms and moderate positive symptoms. Ever since I was put on Risperdal, I have had severe debilitating negative symptoms.

I just have sza. It is treatment difficult but not resistant, thank God. My son had treatment resistant paranoid sz.
