6 month is scary. The volume of the shot must be huge.

Scary if it’s your first time with the drug. I had a bad reaction to Invega and the side effects lasted 6 months, because of how long it takes shots to leave the system compared to pills. It was really rough.

I think I wasn’t 100% compliant at the time which is why they went with the shot. There was a 3 year period when I first got sick where I was extremely symptomatic.

If abilify had a 3month version, I’d take it. I hate going to the depot - reminds me that I’m ill

They have abilify assimtufi which is 2 months

İ m using trevicta which is 3 monthly depot injection of paliperidone.i m using since 4 years.before that i was on xeplion.i would say 3 monthly injection is better

Due to side effects. Plus skeletal muscle tissue is for contraction and movement, not holding chemical substances.

And NMS is always on the table too.
