How many no longer hear voices because of your meds?

Very high
Maximum dose they say is 20mg/day
Always some exceptions though I guess

I’m pretty well much voice free. I take Ziprasidone 80 mg twice daily, and Clozapine 300 mg nightly

How long did it take you to get to 6mg? I have disorganized thoughts as well. It’s gotten better compared to where I used to be

I was originally on 3mg for a year then I asked the dr to up it to 4mg. Then went to 6mg a year or two later so not sure how much time it was in total.

So 3mg was able to help with your positive symptoms? I start 3mg tomorrow and can’t wait. I quite like risperidone personally. I was on Abilify originally for a short while and it gave me awful side effects I still deal with to this day after a year later. Gave me lockjaw but I can live with it.

I had no voices on 3mg but had anger issues and sometimes at night I would hear the door ring while no one was there and sometimes I would hear my family calling me but they weren’t. I mainly increased my dose to 6mg because of anger issues. I read risperidone is used to reduce anger in autism and adhd.

Everyone can teoretically get voice free if they are willing to go as high as possible with meds dose.

On clozapine I went from hearing 3 voices all the time to only hearing 1 part of the time. I consider that a success.
