If you don’t check it every day and you let it build up then how do you know if you’re missing something important or not? I have about 40. I check it every day and delete all the spam and read the important ones from my doctors, bank, family etc.
I gave up long ago on that email account. I am trying to clean it out now that Im using it more, but for several years, I only checked it when I was expecting an email. THere is just so much crap the spam filter misses…
I have had that account for probably 30 years or so , so you can imagine the amount of advertisers and people trying to sell you sfuff accumulates over that period of time. At some point I just gave up on trying to filter it all and started to not pay attention to it unless I was expecting an email.
I guess I should speak for myself but I couldn’t get along without checking my email every day and reading all the ones I recognize the sender. I would just miss so much if I didn’t.
In my old job everything was done on email and phone so I spent a
good proportion of my day filing emails into folders. In my new job it’s different and Teams is used for comms so I do the same with my email as at home and just leave it all in my inbox. Search is good
I check my primary email every day and delete the useless stuff. I have about 3 emails in there right now. Then i have a gmail account i never check, that probably has thousands in it.
