30 - 35 max right now.
My max was 59 pushups in one sitting, nose to the floor. Nowadays Im lucky to get 20 in with the weight gain lol
10 half push ups as a warm up but then I bench with 60kg and incline press with 50kg.
My bench has always been my weakest point. Tryna get to 80kg by Feb.
I reckon I could do 5 full body weight push ups.
Nice! i dont think ive ever been able to do 59 in my life! And 20 is still more than i can do at the moment. How much do you weigh?
Ive never really done much bench presses. I even had one years ago and barely used it. I have no memory of what i could bench. Not much im sure.
20 is a good day for me lol. I weigh 220 lbs but I used to be 185 lbs at my peak physically
As an overweight 60 year old man, id have a difficult time getting on the floor! ![]()
When I was in military basic training I did 135 pushups in 1 minute. That was in 1981.
Edit: I donāt think I did 135 pushups in 1 minute (it was a long time ago), but I did do the most pushups in 1 minute in my company (80 men).
@Ozzyskits schizophrenia, of courseā¦I gained a lot of weight the first year after I stabilizedā¦stopped exercising for a whileā¦doing some now though and lost all my weight.
I donāt even try pushups. The joint in my right shoulder is worn and needs revision. I have to be careful with it until I get the surgery. Iām on a waiting list.

That sounds like a good way to do it. After my max 14, i need to wait a fair while before i can go again. And its usually less than 14 the next set later. Just got back from a jog. Havent gone in ages. Felt good. Did my 14 push ups beforehand. Really want to get fit again. Going to quit vaping tomorrow morning again. Go back on the nicorette gum.
