If you don’t have treatment resistant schizophrenia or are psychosis yet to develop schizophrenia. or whatever appropriate descriptions!

How long have you gone without a relapse?

For me (excluding minor breakthroughs) I’m now nearing two years free. I’m on aripiprazole

Without meds? Like 2 years. With meds 5 years so far but should be 10 years as I stopped my meds and relapsed after 2 years.

I went two or three years as the longest time without relapse although I was not perfect, and the longest I went with sz symptoms without treatment was between 2009 and 2015. And the longest ihave gone with treatment without relapse is 2016 to 2021.

I was on abilify for 10 years without a relapse… I was on 10mg for the vast majority of those years except the first 6 months when they tampered with the meds.

My last proper relapse was in 2018

If by “relapse” you meant having to go to the hospital, it would be 7 1/2 years for me. There have been times when I was getting pretty pathological, and nobody knew about it, though.

I got diagnosed with psychosis 2018 I came off my medication in 2019 after being on it for around a year didnt stop abruptly tryed to cut the dose myself without the docs advise and went roughly 6months and had a relapse before Christmas

my last relapse is now 3 years ago… that’s when they changed my meds big time and since then i didn’t have a relapse.

Congrats to people being symptom-free. Makes myself more optimistic.

I haven’t been hopitalized in the past 10 years. I had some psychotic episodes in that time but i learned to help myself. I done changes in my social network and learned a lot from the internet.
