Diagnosed when 22 by crisis team. so 11 years. But had problems when I was 17.
Diagnosed Sz about a year ago last chrstmas. But been on APs for years due to previous diagnois of BPD. Yay - i have two now! lol.
3 years but I only started meds last year. In a way, my concept of reality changed more after meds than before. It was such a shock…
Yes. When you begin to realise many experiences never happened your reality changes cause the reality you were living in was never real.
My memory has also been impaired so the real real has also been forgotten but the unreal is clearly remembered.
So the present reality remains somewhat disturbed.
About 10 years here. I’ve been on medication for the last 8. My onset was gradual.
10 years I think
I am not diagnosed with schizophrenia, but I have psychotic symptoms since I was 29 years old, diagnosed at 30 y/o, so 5 years. Then 2 years no AP, no symptoms and upon withdrawal from my AD many new episodes from when I was 32 to 35.
Since 2008. July 31st to be exact. It hit me like a brick
I believe the same as @everhopeful, that I’ve always been this way that fits the diagnosis of sz. But it was when I was about 12-13 that demons started tormenting me and my life became dominated by hallucinations and delusions… I’m 50 now.
Huh. I simply meant that having sz feels unbelievable sometimes.
I don’t have schizophrenia, schizophrenia has me.
17 Year’s. I got it when i was 30. I’m now 47.
Probably 2 years ago, still haven’t been diagnosed. Things have been bad since 2014.
Really all my blinking life.
I wasnt diagnosed yet. But since 15 that Ive been taking APs
Long enough to know better.
Diagnosed at 23. Feel like I’ve been schizophrenic my entire life but never had full blown psychosis until 23.
Edit: I’m 25 now so that’s two years
2.5 yrs, since age 19.5.
I was diagnosed in December 2013 (since the age of 24), so that makes it four years for me.
About 5 years now, but some might argue my entire life. It only became a problem 5 or 6 years ago.
