2007 when I was 18 — I was in denial of it at first then it hit me like a ton of bricks when I got into a bad relationship and nearly died a handful of times

Diagnosed 2009. Misdiagnosed with depression 1991. Things went south 1987.

I got it in 1996. Diagnosed in 2001. I have been living with it for 27 years.

I was born in 1982.
I had complex PTSD from 1990.
It worsened and was diagnosed in 2011.
I had psychosis in 2012.
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia maybe in…2014.
I was undiagnosed several times. I think I was permanently undiagnosed in 2022. I now have PTSD and food intolerance. Not sure.

Since age 12 started symptoms diagnosed age 18 now I’m 50

Well yeah since birth really, was always wacky and felt haunted at night. But it was a happy childhood for me till age 10-18 then it was real nasty. In short CPTSD central, real nasty parents, juvenile delinquency, psychotic symoptoms started age 13.
guess I hit the prodromal the moment I hit high school.
Real nasty insidious Paranoid SZ, full psychosis age 16-17 about 8months full paranoid.
Was clinically insane and with serious substance and alcohol and crime issues age 17.5.
age 18 I was on resperidone and in college studying Residual and PTSD but doing good.
my 20s were defined by undiagnosed PTSD aspergers, and residual SZ, but did good irl!
30 yrs old dxed Schizoaffective BI polar type 1, very much high functioning Paranoid SZ leaning. PTSD and found out I was autistic that was the biggest head spin, always knew I was nuts but not autistic lol. Feeling strong and lucky to have survived that and had an epic life on the whole despite it all!

know the feels pal, keep strong and find the meaning to overcome it. I can you can, I am one dumb fella for an autistic Bi polar Schizophrenic. Manage the symptoms, have hope, the rest will come together in time.
