@Crystal-Cotton You had some of the exact same beliefs I had when I was psychotic. And I AM schizophrenic. I’d say theres a pretty good chance that if you go off your meds you’ll go psychotic again and then you WILL get a schizophrenia diagnosis. SZ’s like to deny their illness. I did. Unless you were doing drugs to induce those psychosis, that you said you had for years, I’d say sz is a pretty likely culprit for you paranoia. You can’t just be in denial because you are scared. I hate that I am SZ, but it doesnt change the fact that I am. Anyway, time will tell.
and I would be extremely wary of any supposed “visual illusion test” online being a good test of whether or not someone is schizophrenic.

There is no true online test for schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is a medical disease and therefore required a medical Dr to be diagnosed. It looks like you are trying to escape your disease instead of facing it, its common for schizophrenics. I was like that.

Thats because you are on Abilify. Theres only one way to find out for sure. When your off abilify…and I’m assuming you will go off it…you either will or will not have psychosis again. Then we will know for sure.
well i was off of it for 2 months and didnt have any symptoms but they admitted me to the ward again
and they will monitor me w/ blood tests to make sure im taking the shots

They don’t admit someone for no reason. You said your parents saw you as abnormal and psychotic.

High intelligence is common in schizophrenics.
If you’re so sure of yourself why don’t you ask your psychiatrist to stop your meds and see how miserable you will be?
my psych wont allow me to quit my meds because she is scared i would just become psychotic again…
Well once you’re an adult you can. They won’t now because you’re underage. I quit my meds when I was over 20.
well yeah i have to take the meds for only 5 years so 
i do want to quit my meds because i was asymptomatic for a long time but started getting delusions after a period of stress
Stress brings on Psychosis in Sz. Might as well forget it @anon67051439. It’s something she’s going to have to find out for herself when she goes off her meds. I found the “High Intelligence” thing a little insulting frankly. I used to score high on intelligence tests myself.
