I was for 2 months 50mg injection every week, then i started to reduce gradually. 3 weeks ago i had a 2x50mg injection. If the half life of haloperidol is 3 weeks, then im supposed to have a still 1 full injectiob of haloperidol in my body? My plan is to reduce haloperidol to 50mg a month, so if i want to quickly reduce i should skip for another 3 weeks?
Most people are on Haldol injection for med non compliance. Sometimes there is a lack of insight.I do not think you would want to go down quickly.

In my country almost every new patient is put on a depot, I was put on Invega depot after my 1st psychosis
