How I can know if there is Vraylar in my country?

I am wondering if there is, I hope that it could help my negative and cognitive (?) symptoms.

Yup. Normally it takes about a year to get a new med approved (an NDA for Vraylar to market it in Europe was in March 2016) but I’ve been told by the EMEA (European medicine agency) that the approval of Vrayler can take a little longer (months) because the EMEA asked the makers of Vraylar for extra data to make a decision. The EMEA has a meeting each month to approve or disapprove an NDA and I think, I’m actually sure, the decision will be made within a half year.

Good news @YoungSchizo hope I could try it but some people here in the forum say it’s not so great as I hoped it would. I guess I need to wait for min 101 for my negative symptoms. :frowning:

You don’t know m8. Changing Zyprexa to Latuda made a huge impact on me. Vraylar is another stimulating med, maybe it’ll be something that changes some of our negative symptoms. But yeah, one thing is for sure, we need a med that addresses negative symptoms.

Agreed m8. But I’m only going to be sure when vraylar hits the market here (Portugal) and i hope my pdoc will let me try it. And another thing. The damn pirice

I’ve been in psychiatry for 13 years and I’ve became my own psychiatrist. I decide what helps and what I take. If you have insight into your symptoms and if your symptoms are under control don’t let ‘someone’ (that doesn’t take these pills) decide what’s best for you. What I’m trying to say is when Vraylar is on the market, it’s up to you whether you try it or not.
