I would like to improve my appearance. I wear blue jeans that are 38 waist by 29 long because I have a huge belly, and I use suspenders to help keep them up. But the jeans don’t fit very well and really don’t look good. For one thing, they are baggy. I am going to look around for better jeans.
I am about 80% bald and I have frizzy gray hair on the sides. Maybe I should consider shaving it all off.
I have a lot of rash on my face and I have a cream (Desonide) that I am supposed to use twice a day. I should follow the doctor’s orders.
I am not very social but my appearance is beginning to matter to me.
Shave your head and grow a beard ?
Baggy jeans aren’t so bad, I still wear them even though they went out of fashion like some 20 odd years ago
Does anyone know if a shaved head is a lot of work? How often would I need to shave it? BTW I cannot grow a beard.
A very crude, inappropriate joke springs to mind but I’ll forget about it. Unless you want to hear it?
Just be clean with clean clothes, shaven and hair combed. Maybe get some Dockers and a short sleeve button down shirt. Nice shoes, I read that other people form a first impression of you by what shoes you’re wearing.
I used to shave my head bald a lot (I’m not bald) and go with a beard.
But no, it’s not that hard to shave yourself bald.
See if there’s a barber in your town that can do it for you.
I’d say shave your head, grow some sort of facial hair you like, even if it’s not a full beard unless you can really pull off nothing, and perhaps consider picking up step counting or daily walking and maybe evacuate introducing a diet of some sort for having a better look in the long term, or even some weight lifting or sports if that’s your jam.
I think a buzzcut would also look good on you.
If you don’t like baggy jeans you can buy some Levi’s 501s or 505s. They’re both a regular fit that looks good on all body types. The 501 is a tad more straight legged.
For shirts plain colors are always flattering. Especially a plain black tee.
When it comes to button downs avoid trendy or gaudy patterns. Stick with plain white, black, or any other color that accentuates your skin tone.
You can take all this with a grain of salt of course. What I’m trying to say is buy clothes that are good quality and timeless. Don’t fall into the fast fashion trends.
I hope this helps. Take care.
Hi,
Maybe if you grow out a beard the rash will disappear if it is due to shaving.
Maybe consider wearing shirts that are ur favourite colours
I’m sure you look great
I think a shaved head with a beard looks good
I would try to do something about the belly! You’re whole face will change (for good) if you lose fat.
About shaving the head 100% recommendable. I maintain mine twice a week or so. It’s a way more cleaner image than balding tbh. It didn’t feel right the first time I did it, but now I feel more comfy.
For the beard you can go full beard or a stubble, I prefer the later, even over shaving. But you need to fix the derma problem first, so whatever isbmore comfortable for you… you should follow the doc’s order!
Imo baggy pants are no bueno att
get straight leg pants that fit your waist but go to a dry cleaner / tailor and ask them to shorten the legs
