How do you ‘wear’ your denim?

I usually get 3-4 pairs of denim at a time and they’ll last maybe 4 months. Past that point it’s usually January and I’m wanting fresh denim that’s a little thicker/warmer. So I’ll donate them to goodwill at this point.

At what point are your jeans ‘worn’ and need replacement?

I wear mine a long time. Certainly more than four months. I usually wait until they start to get tears/rips in them before getting rid of them. Unless of course I’ve outgrown them and they don’t fit anymore.

What kind of denim do you wear? I think I might just hard on clothes… I’m 6’1” and 230#…

I’ve though about getting cathart denim as they’re thicker. But they look so uncomfortable. I’ve never tried them on tho

I’ve got Wrangler and Rustler mostly. I use to always wear Levis when I was younger but I don’t anymore.

That’s what I wear. Maybe they’re just more likely to wear thin.

I’ve been wearing them so long I hate to change my routine… I’m kind of OCD

It probably depends somewhat on how many pair you have to alternate between too. In other words, you won’t wear one specific pair of jeans as much if you have 10 pairs to alternate between as you would if you only have 4 pairs. More time wearing and washing more wear and tear.

I’m 6’0" and 255 lbs. I just buy cheap jeans from walmart.com. The ones I have now I maybe have had for six months. I buy the relaxed-fit jeans.

Are they wearing thin? How much life do you have left in them?

So far they aren’t wearing thin. The brand name is “George” Jeans and they were made in Mexico. I’m not really sure how much life is left in them. They are $12.44 on walmart.com. Just search for George men’s jeans.

I’m on Social Security Disability and can’t afford to spend very much. I live on my own and have to pay rent, ect.

It’s been a while since I’ve worn jeans.

Usually I just rock yoga pants or sweats, as they’re more comfy.

When I wear jeans, I like for them to be a darker denim with a skinny leg and have some stretch to them.

I like to wear jeans as well I don’t own any right now cos I haven’t had my disability yet but planning on buying a few pairs maybe from y project it’s my favorite brand.

I wear my jeans out at work, till they are done, my work is dirty and hard on clothes and I once spilled battery acid on a new pair of jeans, they lasted one day lol

My youngest brother just got Carhartt jeans and he loves them. He said they’re comfortable and I honestly think they look great on him. You should give Carhartt pants a try!

I wear jeans from American Eagle (super stretchy and form fitting) and I also have some jeans from Amazon (Daily Ritual brand - very nice, comfy, relaxed look). I love the jeans I currently have. I have a few colors/styles: black, ripped white, ripped gray, gray, medium blue, and light blue. :smiley:

My jeans last me 1 year, sometimes longer.

i wear my jeans for years. although i dont wear them often, preferring khaki when i want to dress nice, or most of the time i wear sweats which are just more comfortable than jeans. i think i only own 2 pairs of jeans, no need to get rid of them unless they no longer fit. i typically just wear cheap jeans from walmart or kohls or something.

I wear Wrangler carpenter jeans from Walmart. I’ve found that i like the way they fit and they seem to last a long time. I actually received two pairs for Christmas, so I’m good for a while.
