It is just as I have said before, imagine that you figured out the entirety of reality itself, and then you tried to share this knowledge. Everyone immediately classifies you as being a complete nutcase for claiming to have done so. Thus it is currently being insisted that all mankind must be stupid since such intelligence is simply not being allowed.
Yeah but calling someone stupid is not really going to get enough people to believe you. They aren’t going to like being insulted.

I believe a person has the right to be as stupid as he or she wants to be. Stupid people irritate me, so I just avoid them. What I hate is when a stupid person gets into a position of power. I was watching this series about World War I, and the generals who ran that war were so stupid. They got millions of young men slaughtered. Many of them were the worst kind of officers - very energetic and very stupid. But as long as a stupid person can’t do any damage I’m not going to worry about their stupidity.
