It’s those of us who were hurt by asking “stupid” questions. So you quit asking questions and then you really do become stupid to the world. Or, when we’re hurt by not knowing any better.

Personally, I think stupidity is underrated. I think it’s much more important than bravery or honesty.
Stupidity is just ignorance or confusion and maybe yeah people can act stupid when psychotic but in all honesty everyone acts stupid at one point or many points in their life so laughing at being stupid is stupid. lol
Stupidity is repeating a self destructive pattern when a means of escape is possible. Stupidity is hurting lifeforms that have feelings, unless they need to be bruised to learn a lesson. Heres hoping for less bruises. Hang in there fellas.

I do stupid shite all the time. Just totally brain dead stupid shite. I know I should be better but I’m medicated and my brain is a lot slower these days!

I mean Elon Musk came up with the simulation theory. A totally new grasp on what reality is. Do you disrespect him, call him stupid, laugh at him Otra? I mean I’m not sure I agree with his theory but I give him credit for trying. Philosopher’s spent their lives trying to understand existance, are we calling them stupid even if we may diasagree? There are 7 billion people on this planet, some enjoy coming up with theories and being themselves without some rude person insulting them. My guess is all 7 billion have done or said something stupid in their lives and yeah it’s ok to laugh with them but to maliciously be rude. Well that’s just stupid.

exactly @Cici2. Socrates said “I know I know nothing” and that was wisdom. So all this nonsense about someone being stupid, join the crowd we all are in a sense and do the best we can with what we try to understand at the time. Now if we all want to laugh together at all of our stupidty i’m with you but if we want to single out one as stupid, laugh at them, then I think we’re ingnorant.
I have done stupid things in my life that I regret deeply.
However people who are being chronically stupid as a personality trait makes it very difficult for me to reason with them especially since I suffer from a cognitive deficit.

At any rate people have a right to be wrong, learn more, and a right to change their minds. I guess this bother’s me because I used to see how the “smarter” people picked on what was called the “mentally retarded”. I can tell you it was the “smarter” ones I thought were stupid. Same with when people gang up on someone who is MI, not funny at all. If they have a way to improve their life then have at it, if not leave them alone. Otherwise it’s bullying and no one gets better.
