I think most people pronounce it schiz-O-phrenia but I see a lot of academics who pronounce it schiz-O-phrEnia with the E being emphasized instead of an en. I’ve always used the former. How do you guys say it?
I emphasize the E as well.
I might have to switch to the big E. Sounds a little classier.

Skitzofreniya, I find it hard to say
SkizPOOPhrenia!
Did not even realise that there was a different way to pronounce it, with the E pronounced like that. But it appears as though the E is being Free is British, and Freh is American. Both seem to be correct for today
